Holyshit hakoria that's a lot. Thought I would've read a lot already lol. But I agree on most of them being awesome, especially shingeki no kyojin rose to my top 5 favourites in no time. In all the chapter released since last year there hasn't been a single one that does not throw a new twist in your face, really looking forward to the anime!

Eh, if what jit says is true, the anime will probably piss me off. Clannad/Kanon weren't baww for me, besides the fact the main heroines were always the least interesting which always saddened me. Tsundere being 2nd/3rd was just too trendy back then. Dunno why KEY always does that, but the VNs exist at least. Reason people baww for those though is surely due to the good dosing between comedy and then drama; if Ano Hana is just dramadramadrama then no wonder you get desensitized. Just like how Another or higu going FD-mode and becoming comedy instead of horror. Well I'll see how it is for myself soon, what had caught my attention is because I'm mainly curious with that 'they were estranged as kids, then have to face the ghosts of their past years later' plot-line. @Ennea: glad you're also enjoying that title, baffled me as well since it's really a hidden gem. Haven't read a new chap since this Spring but due to it being monthly releases I'm waiting another month or two so I can get a good amount to read at once. And yeah, big list which will hopefully continue to grow. Think I've been reading semi-actively (whenever I get in my 'manga' periods) since '06 or so now. @vic: I've heard of Cage of Eden, been on my 'to read' and I'll be picking it up whenever it's finished though (friend had rec'd me). Thats the main problem i found in Clannad anime besides being overly cliche is why the hell the main character go for the natural airhead(dumb) girl route since he got a better choices than her.Why they always choose the girl who we(the audience/players) most not likely to pick.Even her mother is a better choice if you are a rapist like hakoria. Also i prefer the long purple colored hair girl. The over dramatic scenes are not the main problem in the show(its only a quarter).Its in the plot itself and the plot you have given to us is not true.If i say any further,i will spoil everything.The plot itself is retarded,thats as much i can say. Sounds familiar, Hack Sign - The wimpy main character that cannot log out. Sword Art Online - The wimpy main character and his merry otaku friends that cannot log out. To Clanver,your taste are rather unique based on your ratings in MAL.Not insulting or anything since i knew some people personally that have similar taste. Hopefully i can recommend some anime that suit your taste in next week recommendations.

Yeah mis-understood MAL or wikipedia's synopsis of Anohi. Watched 2 eps earlier and, besides the fact Menma's cute as hell, it's okay so far. I'm looking forward to it getting more interesting, the pace was good for an introduction but it'll need some good twists soon since it's a short series. On another note, KEY's '11 VN Rewrite seems to have gotten an eng patch (randomly fell on it's vndb page again) for some days now, so I'll be picking that up. I'll get to finishing Anohi first, it'll be done in some days at latest even if I don't get hooked. I was interested in this one for the last year due to these tags: map system which (iirc) is new from them, Classic Tsundere Heroine (obviously), War + Science Fantasy + Apocalypse (basically Genre Shift in the middle of it), and One True End which will make me forget to catch up with uni studies and keep me busy the next week or two; depending on how many routes there are and if it's good. Doesn't sound like KEY at all though, so looking forward to it. Hopefully it won't end up devious/complex such as YU-NO/S;G(eugh cellphone system)/KnS since I don't plan on using a walkthrough, although I couldn't even 100% Clannad guide-less for the small details (tomoyo's max kick combo, starfish girls appearances, (almost existant) loli route, etc) so I might end up requiring one for completion's sake. I have a slight OCD when it comes to fully completing good vns/games. Compared to the days of Kanon they've been up-ing the difficulty so adding a map system might make this more time-consuming than Clannad, although the latter was already long as hell (at least there's no additional gameplay elements). Could have AGTH/TA'd it for engrish to play it earlier but meh, had forgotten about it. The anime rendition will most likely be worse so I won't bother with it.

Before i start,in this recommendations 1.I will not compare the anime recommended to its respective manga/visual novel/novel/game counterpart. 2.I will not spoil anything in the description given next to the recommended anime title(s). 3.I will not condemn people for liking anime which i hate. 4.I will not recommend anything other than anime. 5.I will however warn things that you need to know before you watch the recommended anime. For people who like comedy generally(continue), 4.School Rumble - Cant believe i forgot to include this in the last week recommendations.Watching this anime reminds me of my old school days.A stupid but funny(non-sense) anime. 5.Seitokai no Ichizon - A harem comedy.Unlike Ennea and Hakoria,i dont find this anime humorous and ended up skipping when viewing the episodes.More than half the jokes are based on other anime.So,if you are not an otaku,most of the jokes presented will fall flat. 6.Seitokai no Yakuindomo(R-18) - Again,a raunchy harem comedy.Yes,most of the jokes are extremely dirty. 7.GTO - Ennea and kara(his friend) suggestion. 8.Lucky Star/Azumanga Daioh/Nichijou - No.These anime are not funny for me.So,if you like either one,you most likely to like the others. 9.Haiyore Nyaruko san - Some people find it funny but i dont. For people who hate dragon ball,bleach,one piece,naruto,d-gray man,hitman reborn and fairy tail but like shounen(continue), 5.Saiyuki - An action adventure anime that is based on the famous journey to the west story. 6.Soul Eater - Basically a classic shounen anime where a group of characters fight against the godly villain. 7.Angel Beats - Only the first few episodes are shounen then it turns clannady.Very high graphics anime with as usual,full use of bloom effect in the show and extremely detailed guns(modern) with very good sound effects plus fluid character movements. 8.Legend of Legendary Heroes(R-18) - Clanver like. 9.Innocent Venus - Crysis 10.Sengoku Basara - ARE YOU READY GUYS!? PUT YA GUNS ON!This show is cliche like hell and heavenly retarded at the same time. 11.Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon - A typical shounen with mild nudity that also includes males. 12.Infinite Stratos - Great setting but its harem.This anime have good cgs by the way. 13.Shounen Omnyouji - Not very sure about this one since its been a long time after i watch it few years back. 14.Sacred Seven - Its megamen with a different name. 15.Chrono Crusade - Church vs Demons. For people who like maids/butlers themed anime, 1.Hayate the Combat Butler(Hayate no Gotoku) - Generally a comedy anime with maid/butler characters setting. 2.Kaichou wa Maid sama - If am not mistaken,only maids are present in this anime. 3.Kamen no Maid Guy(R-18) - You gonna be so shocked on this one. 4.Mahoromatic(R-18) - Like maids.Like robots.Like comedy.Good because this anime has all of those as their basic setting. 5.Ladies vs. Butlers(R-18) - An ecchi/hentai comedy anime.Watch it uncensored and trust me,you wont regret it. For people who like supernatural anime, 1.Mushishi - Do i need to say anymore? 2.Un-Go - A supernatural detective anime.This show its quite unique. 3.Jigoku Shoujo - Very unique is all i can say about this show although i got bored after first few episodes. 4.Supernatural the animated - ??? 5.Bakemonogatari(R-18) - High graphic supernatural harem anime. 6.Nisemonogatari(R-18) - High graphic supernatural incest anime. 7.Wolfs Rain - A story talk about a pack of wolves that have been recognized as humans.Sounds stupid?Yeah. 8.Witch Hunter Robin - Yes,its back to those days again where people hunt witches for a living. 9.Haibane Renmei - Unique concept but poor delivery in story telling. 10.Nurarihyon - An anime that did a huge U-turn in the second season. 11.Kekkaishi - A good supernatural shounen anime although the characters are drawn midgety at all times and looked quite distorted. For people who is an environmentalist, 1.The Law of Ueki - The only green anime out there.Whats more its a shounen anime. For people who like psychological anime, 1.Code Geass(R-18) - As Worldeditor vi Eleven,I command you to watch this show and rewatch for those who already watched.ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!!!ALL HAIL LELOUCH!!!ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!!!(Damn it,i cannot get the anime out of my mind.Must be the geass) 2.Welcome to NHK(R-18) - This anime talks about the personal(very) life of Hakoria being a hikikomori and an otaku.Very realistic in terms of characters and story.This is not a psychotic anime as stated by Hakoria. 3.Death Note - The only anime manage to give me a slight headache upon viewing. 4.Ergo Proxy - This anime is quite dark.And the wallpaper posted by one member does not reflect the actual show itself.Ril never smiles. For people who like dolls, Rozen Maiden - Only the dolls are extremely detailed.Characters/Plot are not.The concept is quite good and the only anime to venture in this genre.Quite brave and ambitious at the same time. For people who like detective anime, 1.Detective Conan - You are the murderer! 2.Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro -Do i like it?No.I got bored after the first few minutes. For people who like magical girls, 1.Strike Witches(R-18) - I never watched this anime so... 2.Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha(R-18) - No,I never watched this anime. 3.Puella Magi Madoka Magica(R-18) - This anime is no good.Dont watch it. 4.Kore wa Zombie Desu ka(R-18) - A magical boy anime. 5.Sailor Moon(R-18) - Huh? For people who like romance anime, 1.Toradora - A proper romance anime.Not those harem romance.This show got some major issues though. 2.White Album - This anime got serious pacing problem.Its sloooooooooowwwwwwwwwww. 3.Honey and Clover - Its supposed to be Cigarettes and Pedophiles. 4.Kimi no Todoke - How the hell this anime got a second season is beyond me. 5.Strawberry Panic(R-18) - A yuri anime that legally broadcasted in japanese national television.Good for people who like yuri but dont want hentai at the same time. For people who dream to be a part of NASA but cant, 1.PLANETES - Extremely detailed and realistic anime about space.Worth watching. Thats it for today.Will keep it updated. Updated - Added new anime

Did you seriously just call Kino no Tabi rubbish? It's one of the most creative and intelligent anime out there. I don't understand how you could put it in the same group as 11 Eyes and Black Rock Shooter.
