I wonder if it's worth it to keep the Google search up top. It seems to me that if you wanted to find something specific on the site it'd be easier to do so through the standard navigation. I would like to maybe replace it with a 'Featured' block which would prominently display something cool/new/unique on the site.
I could always move it to the sidebar as well.

lol, can't say it's exactly a good idea to rank people's say in things based off how long they've been a member.. Since there's a large portion of the site that has a constant amount of traffic from people that come to the site regularly but just aren't registered users (hilo possibly being one of them). Besides, there's always going to be someone that's been on longer then someone else (Except for archard..), so that brings in the dilemma of who wants to abuse their power, lol.

I use the search bar often and think is effective. Navigating through the website can be a pain at times, such as when I can't remember the name of the game.

Ive never used it and honestly you really dont need to you can just click on someones profile and hit the tab link, and see all there submissions, or go to the members section and type the name click on it, and get to there profile that way. This site really isnt hard to navigate through unless your just plain lazy and dont want to take the time look. I like searching by going through the webpages looking up stuff I haven't heard or played yet, but thats just me. A cool idea would be a random tab button.

Based on the feedback in this thread I will keep the search bar up, though it may eventually find a new home on the sidebar.
