Note - The strumming pattern in this tab is just a suggestion.
Strum however it feels right to you.

Note #2 - If you want to be really tricky, you can tap the guitar
with your thumbnail/pinky nail while playing the arpeggios at the
beginning to mimic the clock ticking in the game.

It means you basically

It means you basically combine the note values for the notes that are tied so it's just 1 longer note instead of 2 notes. For example if I have a half note (2 counts) tied to a quarter note (1 count) I play a note that is 3 counts long. You just play the first note and hold over into the second note without playing it.

I dunno about splitting up

I dunno about splitting up those chords into rhythms but I guess you can't sustain them. Maybe with a clean electric.
