I play more often since 3 years ^^

i never had lesson but i was a big fan of David Gilmour, so during the 1st times i tryed some pink floyd, i guess it's from this times that i learned to enjoy doing some bluesy solos ^^

(i know the 2nd solo isn't bluesy, i guess it comes from my love of Metallica :p)

David Gilmour is awesome! :)

He is my God :p i mean he is

He is my God :p i mean he is the man that makes me wanna play guitar ^^

on a random note, if you

on a random note, if you listen to the solo in repentence by dream theater, youll probably notice that its sounds like the biggest gilmour rip off of all time. in fact, most DT solos have extremely similar tones and melodies used in gilmours music. isnt hard to tell petrucci was influenced by pink floyd in my opinion.

of course, DT made a live

of course, DT made a live cover of "Dark Side OF The Moon" ^^
BUT i'm not a Petrucci fan, he gots speed and technique but Gilmour has FEELING ! And technique but not the same kind of technique, i plays more slowly but everything always sounds so right, his bends are perfects, his touch is awsome ^^

He is my all time favourit guitarist, i don't say the best, i say my favourit ^^

thats true! i forgot about

thats true! i forgot about that.

and youre right, gilmour has much more feeling than petrucci does. david goes for emotion, while i find john just goes for "balls-out-i-am-your-god" shredification

lowl yhea ^^

Haha, wow hash, the people really love you!! :D

they really love you too :p

sorry link, i forgot to

sorry link, i forgot to mention that in these types of arrangements, at least in my less than professional opinion, its usually the bass really sets the mood, and this song youve collabed with hasel on is no exception to that. the thing i really like about this is how well you can hear each different layer of the music, the lead, the harmony, the bass, and drums. exquisite.

now, you said you play the drums as well? is it a drum machine by any chance?

Thank you wayfaerer :) Hash

Thank you wayfaerer :) Hash did a great job with mixing although I wonder what he used? Anyways, I use tuxguitar to program drums into my covers, then FL studio 9 to convert them to mp3s :)

Somehow the lead part feels

Somehow the lead part feels kind of staccato-ish in some parts.
