Ah, this is the same arrangement I played over a year ago. You play it much better than I did. xD

your cover was solid too man~

I'm sure you've said before,

I'm sure you've said before, but what model guitar is that? A couple days ago I told Auri that I'd never heard a good cutaway--but I had forgotten that you use one. It sounds good!

Was it totally in tune though? Tuning sounds a little wonky in spots yet somehow totally fine in others.

I like my cutaway. Sometimes

I like my cutaway. Sometimes when I play a bunch of solid body guitars I realize my sound seems a little.... thin? But the play-ability makes up for it. Its very easy to play and I do like plugging it into an amp sometimes. Its a cordoba c7.
no I don't think it was this time, some parts did sound a little off when I went back to watch it. the tuner on the guitar ran out of battery and so I've been using a shitty one on my phone til I can get another 9 volt battery :C

This is very good. I enjoyed

This is very good. I enjoyed it, Lemon.

I think you could improve upon this a lot by incorporating dynamics and color to help shape your phrases better. For example, when you feel tension, you can play louder and closer to the bridge (ponticello). When you feel like tension has resolved, play softer and closer to the neck (dolce).

Also, your connectivity could be improved. Don't be afraid to change the fingerings to allow notes to sustain longer. Use sequential movement to grab notes as needed when changing chord shapes. Try not to just grab the shape if it can be avoided. Practicing at ultra slow tempos will allow you to work on connectivity efficiently.

Anyways, good job!

oh fuck its nate thanks for

oh fuck its nate

thanks for the critique. I'll definitely do my best to incorporate dynamics next time. I didn't know that playing closer or further from the bridge was something you could incorporate into your playing. Neato.
Definitely still working on making my left hand technique better too. trying to make shit ring out as long as possible. I'll definately slow it down more and practice more before hand on my next peace.
also you should hit me up on skype, talk to me brotha

I think it sounds like the official tabs (D tuning), they are excellent quality tabs.
But personally I will always prefer the Ghibli arrangements made by LeonBloy :
