How do you play the tied notes? are they supposed to be played on the previous fret? Could you please elaborate on them a bit for the rest of us? Other than that great work on the tab. It sounds spot on.

In 4/4 time a whole note lasts a full measure and a quarter is 1/4 of that length. Try going through the 'The Basics' lessons on this site to learn note durations http://www.musictheory.net/lessons
