the bassline is nice, but the rest sounds kinda off...

It's pretty good, third chord should be xx34xx instead of 35. I think the second part is like this:

I'm not positive, but I think that's essentially how it goes. I based it off of a midi, so it could be wrong on a few notes. I suppose it might go along with the bass a little better like this:
