Here's how I'd do it: http://auriplane.net/wowexample.gp5 Actually, I'd rather write it as 3/4, and put fermatas on the extra long notes. Unfortunately, Guitar Pro doesn't let you do that. (A fermata indicates that a note is held for longer than it is written. How long is up to the performer, and it's varying a bit in this piece.) Don't worry about getting the exact length of the long notes right. Just write an instruction to hold the notes (hit T to add text) or make an approximation, like I did (two measures, three measures, etc.)

hi
I never tried transcribe a tune by ears before, this is my absolute first time, so I am a bit lost about "Time Signature" choice to begin my transcription.
for my first work I choose a easy tune (few notes + very slow) called World of Warcraft Soundtrack - Temple of the Moon :

Now I m asking what "Time Signature" I have to choose because 4/4 or 3/4 didn't works really during my try.
finally I tried an exotic "Time Signature" called 5/4, it seems good but maybe I am wrong, i am a bit lost in time lol :/

If any1 can check this part & give me an opinion, it ll be very usefull for me to continue this transcription.
Thanks
