I love this opening but hate that it has semitone key change midway through ._. I can get that its effective in building energy (which is exactly what this song is about) buuuuut it's still really super inconvenient

as such, first half of the song is played standard tuning capo 2, then change to capo 3 from the marker. there's single bars of 15/16 time in there too but that will have little effect on playability if you're familiar with the original so don't stress about that - it's in for the sake of accuracy

I've seen people bypass the inconvenience by using a thing called a rolling capo. It's limiting, but for some songs you just need special equipment. Thought you might be interested.

btw nice tab. I would reduce the amount of notes in each stroke, but that's just my preference. I think that you should clean those rests up. Seems bit messy.

Yeah those glider capos would be real handy! the struggle is just finding one in Western Australia ._. ebay here i come

I can get where you're coming from with reducing the amount of notes too, most times it make a song clearer and easier by arranging in that way - i just find it hard to capture the 'fullness' for lack of a better word of energetic pieces with singular notes. Most of this piece i find myself strumming with the back of my fingernails rather than plucking like i usually do. The rests are there by design too - the piece starts on the 4th beat so i've left in the rests beforehand, and the ending bar rest just indicates that the note should be played almost staccato-like as opposed to being held. Cheers for the feedback tho!

By bad. thought the rests were left unintentionally.

Doesn't Amazon sell glider capo? I'd think that they would deliver even to Australia.

Amazon probably do but as far

Definitely learning this one! Awesome tab!

It seems like you could transpose the first part and play the whole thing on capo 3, at the expense of the fullness of some of the chords and the ease of ringing out some of the bass notes. It doesn't sound quite as good though and transposing the second half down would leave a barre-chording nightmare lol.

When it comes to making my own tabs I have the mindset that the capo should be optional so anyone can play it in standard or such, even if out of key. But that's just my personal opinion and I was Born Stubborn, lol

That said, I really think it's wrong to call for a capo movement mid-song. A lot of people don't mind it at all, but my only capo is bolt-on and non-movable, so I'll find a way around it for myself ;P
