Don't make comments on unapproved submissions, please

Right now we have two ways you can submit tabs:

  1. You can make a thread in the Submissions forum.
  2. You can use the "submit tab" feature from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.

And when you do it the second way, you can leave a comment on your submission telling us stuff like "Hey, I forgot to say my tab is for seven-string guitar with every string tuned to A". And people forget stuff all the time, so they leave comments like that all the time.

Don't do that.

When you do, spambots go crazy and make a million spam comments, like this:

If you need to make a comment, feel free to start a forum thread instead. You can post it under the Submissions forum. Thanks :-)

About the spam on discussion posts: sorry about that, I had no idea. It makes me wonder why there even are discussion pages?

No reason to apologize, you didn't do anything wrong. The site's just a little rusty around the edges, so I'm trying to encourage people to work around the problem areas :-)
