Pretty song! :-) 'Folklore' works okay for 伝承 (denshō). That's the gloss used on Japanese Wikipedia. It refers to traditions, stories, legends, mythology, and so forth which have been passed down orally over the ages.

Thanks for the info! The orchestral cover of this song by TAMusic used the word 'Folklore' in the song title, so that's where I got it from.
