I don't wanna make a whole entire list right now, but I'll just say that I think Marth is the best character (yes better than Ike), I think Sonic sucks, and Yoshi Lucario and King Dedede are upper tier.

I agree with most of the top tiers, except for Sonic, Ganondorf, Snake, Donkey Kong, and Wario. Marth definitely isn't middle tier. He's one of the best characters in that game. Samus should be higher, and Captain Falcon too xD.

Come on, tier lists just ruin the game. Sorting everyone by ability only will take the fun out of the game.

There are more stages than just final destination, you guuuuuuuys.

I usually try to avoid arguing about character ranks, but this is bothering me. You just said Dedede is upper tier. He's slow, can't hit anything, and none of his attacks are all that effective. Now, I am not good at Brawl. I know people who are, and they have their favorites, but can generally play as anyone. They never play as dedede, unless they're just messing around. Are you pretty good as him?

Every character in the game has its strengths and weaknesses, you just gotta figure out how to use them. Everyone hates King Dedede for the same reasons you listed, but I used to play with him a lot when I was 'just messing around', but grew to really like him. Yes, overall he runs and jumps pretty slow, but some of his attacks are just as quick as some of the faster characters in the game, and it's the quickness that really counts in this game. Combine that with his ultra powerful attacks, and he can be really good if you know how to use him. Try playing a level 9 King Dedede against the computer. You'll see what I mean.

I never pay attention to those tier lists, I just choose the characters I love and try to get really good with them, XD. But according to your list, I guess I'm doing all right using Sonic, Mr. G&W, and Mario all the time, =D. I guess it's interesting comparing yourself to the list though, ^^". However, I rather love to play a game that is timed (stock is good to, <3), any level, any items, and any character opposed to Ike v.s. Ike on Final Destination with no items and strict rules, XP. Just my opinion though...

Toon Link, Ike, Marth and Pit are the best for me. Metaknight and Zero Suit Samus are great as well and Sonic is quite cool too.

yeah, it's mostly who you use more. I'm good at yoshi, pikachu, bowser, lucario and ganondorf, but that's just cause I get a lot of practice. some characters are easier to get used to though.

Dude don't mess with the puff, she might be light, but she is deadly in the right hands. Yoshi is definately a huge threat..though i prefer melee for it's faster paced gameplay and it seemed more challenging (idk anyone else with me on that one?). Oh and meta knight is ownage

I think the only difference was that in melee, the characters were twitchy, and you could somehow fly with a midair dodge.

Um yeah...Olimar is the best character in the game if you know how to use him. Just fight a level 9 Olimar and then fight level 9 anything else. Lucas is also cheap as a gypsie (Freeze + UpA = instant kill if above 50%). And personally, I do work with Wolf. Best juggling moves in the game. I can throw someone off the top of the screen before they reach 30%. Oh yeah and Ice Climbers are amazing. Yes I said it. Try playing with them for a week and you will understand. Hammer and Cracker Launcher at the same time is just not fair.

And Zelda is the cheapest character in the game. Smash B is only avoidable with a shield. Even if you dodge it, 50% of the time, the after shock will still hit you.

The pace of the game as well, melee was a bit faster, plus those mid air dodges to get back to the screen were nice with yoshi who had no special up B jump type move like a majority of the characters.. ex mario's up b, link's up b, ect nothing like a last ditch effort lol.

oh and what do you mean by twitchy, do you mean the movement wasnt as smooth, or what?

yeah, i think yours is pretty much agreeable, but ganon 2nd to bottom? Just cause he's slow doesn't make him stink. I hit a sandbag 11500 feet with him, and he's the character i used for my 2 minute match K.O. record of 15. So, yeah, he's not THAT bad.

Bad matchups, low-ish priority, a lot of his moves have bad start-up/ending lag, and he has an average recovery. Although his power would seem to make up for this, it's not very helpful when he gets out-prioritised(sp?) on most of his moves.

I still use him a lot though XD
