It deletes them after they're posted. You'll see spams appear now and then and disappear. Most of those are eaten by the bot, but occasionally a few make it through. (When they stick around for more than a minute or so, that means a mod had to delete them by hand.)

To date, it has eaten 4039 individual spams from 1597 accounts.
