This is cool how you split the screen with the two guitars like that.

I remember a while ago you said you were gonna get a webcam... which webcam did you end up getting? I just bought one and the quality of it SUCKS. Really bad. I can't even use it. Yours looks really good though.

I got myself the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000...the only problem with the quality is, that it's not as clear as possible when it doesn't get enough light. This video looks a bit blurred, too, because it was already dark outside and I had to turn on the light to get it like this. But the sound quality is only good for speaking. I'm using the Toneport GX from Line 6 at the moment...but without plug-ins. Need to have a creditcard to purchase them. :/

DAMN.... I went to Circuit City and the three cameras I eventually narrowed it down to were the Logitech Communicate STX (50 bucks), Communicate Deluxe(80 bucks), and the Quickcam Pro 9000 (100 bucks)!!!

I was convinced that a 100 dollar camera was unnecessary and the only reason I'm even thinking about buying it is because the corrupt businessmen of the world want me to pay more for something that is only marginally better than the cheaper alternative :P

I guess I was wrong. I went with the 50 dollar camera :|

I see some good deals online for the Quickcam Pro 9000... so I think I'm gonna return the one I bought today and get the 9000 online.

I payed even more for it...Germany's much more expensive, you know? :/
A Wii-Game normally costs about 100$...

@Jpg
Thanks. :)
As I already said in the other post: I used the Toneport GX from Line6. It acts as an external sound card and has input for guitar/bass/microphone. If you want an example how great the Toneport can sound when used with plug-ins and some adjustments: http://www.youtube.com/user/schehf?ob=1

I have an sm57... it's pretty good for recording an acoustic. And yeah I use audacity.

I'm using Cubase SX3 at the moment with a VST called "Addictive Drums" to make the midi-drums sound good.
Just recorded Gyromite (Title & Level Theme). I'm now going to make a video for it...will submit it tomorrow or so. :)

I have a sm57, do you think a Line 6 Toneport is better?
I'm leaving right now to the store.

Are you recording an electric or acoustic? I don't see how having a microphone would be any good for recording an electric... or a toneport would be any good for an acoustic.

Is a Toneport just for electric?
I need a quality mic for everything. Vocal and Instrument.

Should I stick with a sm57?

If you're recording acoustic you should use a common microphone, if you want to record electric (and have some nice bass and vocal presets) you should get the toneport. The toneport acts as an external soundcard, so you have to connect your guitar via the guitar port to the toneport to hear something. :) The sound is adjusted with a program called "Gear Box" which comes with the toneport. I really want those plug-ins, but they only offer payment via creditcard...that sucks. :/

Well, whatever, here's "Gyromite" for NES...together with some pretty pyjama. :)
Somehow got out of sync near the end...
