there are some programs that SOMETIMES can bring stuff back, even though it's been deleted from you computer. I used one one time and even though only a few files that I wanted were recoverable, it was better than nothing. Google it I guess. Don't get your hopes up but you maaay get lucky. |

While it's truly sad that you lost those (I know the feeling's even worse when you lost something in progress), the best way to back something up is to distribute it widely. e.g., post it in the zip files here on gametabs. Chances are someone will have the file if it gets lost, at the very least archard will have it backed up. |

I had a folder that contained all my source gp5 and finale files and now it's completely gone. Luckily most of the stuff is here but the source is gone. I wanted to make some substantial changes to the suikoden passacaglia and now have to start over. And not to mention all the stuff I had been working on in progress.
