Is there a kind soul out there who could make a tab out of the electric guitar parts from Devil May Cry 4 battle theme, "The Time Has Come" for me?

Ahh, okay, so I tabbed it out for ya, not sure it's 100% correct though.

Ah, I see! Thanks for updating! :)

Do you know if they use some kinda effect while playing? I'm having a hard time getting a similiar sound with my old amp.

They might be using an overdrive pedal or a distortion pedal that has a certain style. You also have to consider that they're playing a recorded version that might've been remastered, etc. and that they used different guitars (different amps too? if they recorded it in a studio). Finally, I'm pretty sure they also have a bass guitar playing along, adding a little effect there as well.

So there are quite a bit of factors that may lead to yours not sounding like theirs. I suppose you could try to mix around with how much bass, treble and pitch you have. You could also try playing it using different amounts of gain.

The important part is that the notes sound right, which I hope they do!

That is true, equipment does matter. I think it sounds pretty accurate anyway, both versions sound good, but I like the updated one better. ;)

I play it roughly the same as the above tab, but all on the E string... rough tab for ya.

D: 7 8 7 5 7 8 7 5
A: 7 8 7 5 7 8 7 5 5 5
E: 5 6 5 3 5 6 5 3 3 3 3 3

Betcha this screws up.
