That must feel awful, but at least it's an easy, inexpensive fix. When I was looking for someone to repair an old guitar, two techs offered to fix the soundboard cracks for about $40, then $20 for each additional crack. As long as none of the braces were knocked loose, your guitar can be fixed in no time. Though as a precaution, I would loosen the strings to reduce stress on the soundboard. =( |

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *tears* I even said "noooo" when I saw the title, and then when I saw it was you I was all the first line of this reply. I have nicked my guitar in a few places. Is the damage structural or can you still play it? I think if you can still play it you should make a recording as soon as possible to help get used to it. Just...don't rest your arm on it? I dunno. It looks like just a crack but obviously if it can't take the weight don't play it till it's fixed..
