Thanks for the suggestions Im definitely going to check them out more in depth in a while once im done with ffxiii-2. I skimmed through everything. Ive already listened to everything ghibli but im most excited for listening to dark cloud for that lovely accordion and ghost in the shell. Ive actually never watched any of ghost in the shell but that jazzy stuff kind of reminds me of what cowboy bebop does. Oh and please continue with more ideas if you have any more!

Tell me how that soundtrack

Tell me how that soundtrack is, I haven't given it a listen yet. And yeah, dark cloud has one of the most underappriciated osts of all time. And yeah! Cowboy bebop was composed by yoko kanno too. Great album Suikoden had some good tracks Oblivion had really good atmosphere tracks Silent hill had a really good soundtrack something a little more grand lots of different stuff on this album, it definately doesn't all sound like this song, but this is my favorite track off it, make sure to give this one a try venturing away from vidya one of the most beautiful albums ever seriously don't knock it til you try it |

Theres so much good music

Theres so much good music here that im just too excited now to even concentrate on studying! I really liked the secret of mana ost. mitsuda's stuff is always great too! I actually am in fact going through my first crono trigger playthrough. Its actually the reason why Im going crazy with all the studying because I spent my entire weekend playing crono -_-. I cant listen to shadow of the colossus right now because im gonna get too excited and pumped up lol. Ive never even heard of mother 3 and it sounds really interesting. I might check the game itself out once im done in this hell hole situation of finals. With that luciano cillo stuff. If you like it try looking up Al Di Meola and the stuff he did in the 80s and early 90s. Alot of it is like this and much better. especially the stuff he did with chick corea. I absolutely love the fact that you linked me those two movie soundtracks. The land before time series was big for me when i was a kid and i never thought to look at the ost. Prince of egypt is also one of my favorite disney movies. It made me realize that I should check out some more film stuff soon. The only disney melody i can think of from the top of my head is from Up. Auri, thanks for the sudgestions I have yet to hear much of either ost in depth so I'm quite excited for what is to come up :) Jacob, thanks for the megaman stuff. The battle network games just bring back memories of middle school

Topic is in a good direction, it has Yoko Kanno. Recommend songs from same album: Dash! To Battle, Mars, Rebirth the edge. Don't think you stated you wanted something relaxing or w/e, and since you're fond of e.guitars you could quite like the riffing. |

I've never heard anyone mention it before...I've never played the game...but if you're a fan of Yasunori Mitsuda check out the soundtrack to Zwei!! If someone told me it was composed by Mitsuda I would have absolutely believed it. Stylistically, not just the music or instruments but the actual STYLE of composing is very much like Mitsuda. |
this is now a yasunori

I can see completely what you are talking about. Its awesome. I read on the info of the video that it is composed by several composers so you are bound to get a lot of versatility and mitsuda is a very versatile kind a guy. Thanks for the sudgestions. KEEP THEM COMING PEOPLE! Oh and if anyone is wondering. I know i failed the test that I was studying for. Reason being is that I was just so exhausted that at that point any information coming into my brain were just words coming in and right out. I had just finished waking up from a 6 hour nap after 54 hour study and test taking session so my mind was useless. Although, there is good news. I had straight A's so far in the class and the final was only worth 20% so its not a big deal.

I'm soooo ahead of you on that link. Not because of mitsuda but because of Masashi Hamauzu. I'm such a big Hamauzu fanboy that just by saying his name i become like an excited highschool girl finding out some hot guy liked her. This all started back in the fall when I found out that every song I really liked from FFX and the piano collections were all from Hamauzu and not Uematsu. Salem! where is that stuff from. I like it! Hakoria- I appreciate the link. Its awesome! Got anymore?

It's finals week and I have been studying like a mad man since sunday. I even did a double back to back all nighter and was awake for 52 hours! I can't study or do any type of work without music so lets just say I've listened to a shitload of music so far this week. I've gone through almost the entire Hamauzu discography, 3 ballets, an opera, and a bunch of other stuff. Either way... Im looking for soome fresh music to listen to for the next 14 hours or so for my last final. Preferably some sound tracks that I probably haven't listened to in a whole yet! I'm going to go through the XIII-2 soundtrack first as I havent gone through it yet except for the premier tracks for it. Thanks!
