Now the movie will only be titled:

Ninja Turtles


I guess they had to simplify it due to the old name not fitting very well.

  1. They are aliens not mutants now.
  2. The planet that they come from would most likely have a different yearly cycle than earth. They are probably not teenagers by earth standards. It currently looks like they won't be teenagers even by their own standards either.

However, I still don't think the name Ninja Turtles fits.

  1. It is unlikely that a planet on its own evolutionary track would have an organism similar enough to a turtle to actually be classified as a turtle.
  2. They apparently learned ninjutsu on their home planet despite the fact that ninjutsu originated in Japan.


I propose that a more apt name would either be:

Old-Ass Alien Warrior Genetically-Similar-to-Turtle-Organisms

or

Aliens Blow Shit Up
(possible storyboard for Aliens Blow Shit Up)
