About Me:

While an oral smoking high and an oral edible high sometimes feel similar, they're very different. Edible highs usually display much heavier body effect, and deeper, more intense brain stimulation (which, for others, is almost as close to hallucinogenic). There's also a newer CFL-2 cannabis-like compound coming on the scene from Canadian scientists that could beomers between Delta-8 CBD and Delta-9 THC.

Delta-8 and Delta-9 are the most common of the two types of cannabidiol (cannabis and hemp) compounds and are available online at While Delta-8 has been found to suppress the appetites in the human brain, Delta-9 has been shown in animal studies to reduce nausea and increase the appetite. In addition to Delta-8 and Delta-9, there are a couple of other lesser-known CBD compounds that have been tested and found to be just as effective. Cannabidiol analogues of THC and CBD are still under investigation.

So, why are Delta-8 and Delta-9 better than the rest? Recent clinical trials in Canada and the United States have concluded that Delta-8 and Delta-9 have more CBD than other CBD-like compounds. The reason is simple: Delta-8 and Delta-9 are much closer in molecular structure to THC and CBD than other known cannabis extracts. This close molecular structure makes them more potent than most other extracts, while at the same time being simpler to metabolize by the body. Delta-8 has about four times the CBD as THC, making it twice as powerful as THC in many laboratory experiments. It also seems to work better than CBD in some cases, although these claims remain controversial.

Delta-8 and Delta-9 are not the only two ingredients in Delta-8 and Delta-9, however. In addition to CBD, other ingredients including THCam, Cannabidiol, and Terpenes are sometimes included. These additional ingredients, while providing similar medicinal benefits, may be less well tolerated than CBD alone and may act differently in people who are already vulnerable to the side effects of cannabis use, including nausea, dizziness, and paranoia. Some researchers think that terpenes help prevent some cannabis-induced side effects such as anxiety, coughing, insomnia, and depression.

While Delta-8 and Delta-9 seem to be the best choice for Delta-8 and Delta-9 chewable tablets, they may not be the best choice for Delta-8 effex tablets, as these seem to work better with Delta-9 in the body. Effex patches are another alternative, but they do not work as well or cause any harmful side effects like with Delta-8 and Delta-9 chewing gum. Effex patches are recommended for use during the initial period of cannabis use, because they prevent the plant from storing too much of its active ingredient. However, after this initial period of use, Delta-8 and Delta-9 should still be taken.
