Four-string bass.  There's two picking patterns.  One alternates
strings every two notes, and one is two high notes, six low notes.
IMO the first picking pattern is easier to do evenly, but if it
helps, you can play the first part like the second pattern if you
move the 5th and 6th notes in each pattern up a string.  Whatever's 
easier.

BTW, it's an easy pattern.  It's only hard because it's fast, so if
you're having trouble, *practice it slower*.
