really nice, never played any silent hill games, but this arrangement makes me wanna try one.
one thing though, I'm having a hard time with the fingering on measure 14.
Am I supposed to bar the four then try to finger both the sevens? maybe I just have tiny hands, but I just can't do it.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. If you like subtle horror, I strongly recommend the Silent Hill series. Be prepared for some awkward voice acting at the beginning though.

Also, you're right about barring the fourth fret. You do have to stretch your hands a bit for this arrangement, but using a capo makes it easier.

I say you've got a good ear, but some of the fingering is a little wonky.
For instance, in the sixth measure you could lay down a barre on 7 and play those notes on the fourth fret up on the 9th.

I would love to see you play this. It'd be an impressive feat.

I agree the fingerings are tough but this arrange is very pretty, I will definitely be adding this to my pile of songs to practice XD.

The barre on the fourth fret

The barre on the fourth fret is a little unusual, but I wouldn't change it for a barre on the seventh. I like to keep the open strings ringing as long as possible, and barring the seventh would muffle them earlier than the original fingering. As Karathrow mentioned, the transition to and from the barre on the seventh is also kind of awkward. When I'm arranging, I try to keep in mind that my fingers are unusually long, and I know that it is a pretty big stretch without a capo. However, I think it's very doable if put a capo on the third fret as I suggest at the top of my tab (without the capo, the arrangement is in a lower key than the original as well). Hope this helps...

How do you guys place your fingers? I use the index for the barre, the middle finger for the D on the low E string, and the ring finger for the D on the high E string. Also, I move my ring finger to the seventh fret on the fourth eighth note in the measure. It's much easier to position the other two fingers when you can balance your hand on the ring finger. Maybe I've practiced this song too many times, but it feels pretty natural to me when I play it this way.

I guess my thinking sort of was that many things that seemed awkward or tough to me before became manageable later. I've been able to get myself to make a lot of awkward movements more comfortable with practice or playing the song enough. However I think you may be right in that no matter how many times I play this it will still be awkward.

This was sort of the issue I ran into with your (northstars) Heart of Courage arrangement. I must have played that like a bajillion times and I realized its just never going to come out clean enough because of how awkward the fingering is.

I realize no one wants to make compromises for their sound, and I totally respect that. At the end of the day though it's kind of sad when you realize a lot of tabs or arrangements sort of get tossed in the graveyard because of this kinda stuff.

Maybe it's just that the majority of people don't record and there are a lot of people playing it. Or maybe I'm just really terribad at guitar (which I don't deny).

Not trying to shit on your hardwork. I enjoy every one of your arrangements, I just don't think I'll ever be able to record one no matter how much I practice.
