After listening to it, I gotta agree with surreal. The tremolo part near the end is interesting, but seems short and out of place... to me at least. The tremolo also wasn't executed as well as I would have liked to have seen D:
That being said, I'm sure other people will like this version more and it will probably be tabbed soon XD.

lonlon's arrangements are hit or miss, this is a miss. Sounds stale, that is some bad trem. I'm more disappointed in lonlon in not mastering that simple section, lonlon needs to put more care into his arrangements. At least he didnt add reverb this time.
I was really looking forward to this but it's a bit disaapointing, kabuki's arrangement deliver much more the feeling of this song.. however, some parts seem to be interesting as a combination of both arrangements :O
Vic, kabuki uses an old mic held up with tape. Lonlonjp has shitty recording quality because the balance of his settings are horrible, not to mention his reverb is an abomination.
And in terms of play talent, lonlon is perfectly able to play that piece, he just didn't practice it until it was mastered.

thats what I mean when I said "quality" as in his videos. Im well aware that lonlonjp's skills are way up there. To be honest I enjoyed this video up till the ending parts I didn't care much for how he ended it.

I thought it blew kabukibears out of the water easy. The tremolo at the end was good to and I dont think think the tremolo wasn't suppose to sound like that. It sounded just like how he wanted to sound and I liked it. Sounded better then kabukis imo. Only fault I found was the large amount of string noise.

I think i might have to agree with most of the comments on this, I am a big lonlonjp fan but his playing for this song is quite sloppy imo (comparing to most of his other works).
It is still a very good arrangement, but if i was to choose kabuki's or lonlon's to play myself, i would definately choose kabuki's, because, imo, his is just a bit more filled.
Overall i think if lonlonjp played his arrangement a little bit better it would've given a better reputation for his piece. (not saying his playing is bad in any way, but i can hear weakness in his fingerpicking at certain points.)
EDIT - lonlonjp meant for his personal arrangement to be played slowly with more emotion, it would be difficult to play his interpretation as fast as kabuki does with his own. But on the other hand i'm sure kabuki's is slightly closer to the original.
Both are much better than i could put together alone :)

awww people dont understand sentences? Saying
"I dont think think the tremolo wasn't suppose to sound like that" minus the extra think mean *I THINK the tremolo WAS suppose to sound like that.* I think some people need to go out and take high school lit again and learn to think in the Contrapositive.

Excuse me while I quote the sentences again.
"The tremolo at the end was good to and I dont think think the tremolo wasn't suppose to sound like that. It sounded just like how he wanted to sound and I liked it."
You used the wrong word for "too." You lacked a comma before "and" to separate complete ideas. Saying "don't" (you missed the apostrophe in there too) and "wasn't" in your sentence makes it completely redundant and without fluency. Lastly, you're missing an "it" between "wanted" and "to." Your interpretation of what the word "contrapositive" applies to is also false.
You should really learn better grammar acting as though you're good at it; I beg you.
Pass that high school lit first before you can remark to people that they should take it again.

yes grammer. while i was writing that I noted every single gramtatical mistake I made and you listed. That did not stop it from being a logical cohesive statement and telling me to speak and type in a certain matter("fluency" i know exactly how it sounded) only adds to a conformity. The english language is for me to use in however order as long as its logically consistent. Whether it is logically comprehensive is up to others(and a fair due myself). And contrapositive can mean "to say something in another way while denoting the same thing". A fine example of psuedologic
