you pull your collar up to protect your neck against the damp air fumbling inconsistently from the sea. there may be a race tomorrow, but tonight there's nothing but this crummy port city. any number of clubs offering only vulgar neon. your eyes are watering - the ash is falling again from some far off place.
some distant fire. somewhere something is burning.
your heart starts to push. there's that aching in your bones.
your fire.
not tonight.
tomorrow.
tonight, there's only grey.

I love this arrangement. Espescially how you set the mood with the writing.

It made me feel like I was following Winston Smith(from the book "1984") through a futuristic, neo-nazi F-Zero city. Victory neon signs hehe Super chill man :)

thats wonderful. 1984 is a classic.

the image and feel i have in my head for it is really strong, so anything it can evoke from someone similar is fantastic.

and thank you tons. i hope at some point to do it as a trio live with my brother and get someone with an upright bass and use a jazz guitar (rather than electric bass and classical guitar).
