Hmm, your lead tone doesn't

Hmm, your lead tone doesn't really fit at all. The rhythm and lead tones are almost dissonant together.

i'm pretty sure the rhythm

i'm pretty sure the rhythm and lead are in the same key, therefore it has to fit... :|
anyone else feel that way???

Yup, the lead really doesn't

Yup, the lead really doesn't sounds good, in don't know if it's in the same key or not but the sound's setting you use doesn't works =/

well, too much fuzz leads to

well, too much fuzz leads to crazy fucked up harmonics. that's why it sounds a little off sometimes

yeah, i may have used to much

yeah, i may have used to much gain/drive/distortion, i'm sorry, but i don't find it too bad, or else i wouldn't have posted it in the first place (hopefully my english is right and you people understand me)

oh its not bad, and the tone

oh its not bad, and the tone is a matter of taste after all. I like this kind of chaotic tone , but it sometimes don't fit the song in that case
actually, the problem is that the guitar is too harsh imo. maybe you should try to add some playing effects (slide, etc...), add reverb, more medium and less drive for a warmer tone, ...
well, that's just some advice to, imo, improve your cover :)
have faith on the perfection road

alright, i will try that one

alright, i will try that one with reverb and with more medium, but my amp is shitty (line 6 micro spider), so it won't make much difference-.- but thanks for the advice!
this cover was just something i wanted to throw out into the world and it is by far not the final version.
and you're right, more effects would be cool, maybe i will try to add some shredding in my next videos, if i get the hang of it.

Well, here's the sitch: your

Well, here's the sitch: your melody is distorted, but the accompaniment is mellow. (This is known to all here clearly.) But if you're going for a rock version, as your title says, clearly the solution is not to mellow out and warm up the melody!

The solution would be to keep the melody distorted, and to change the accompaniment to something harder. If you're trying to rock out.

Unless you want to go the mellower route, in which case, keep the accompaniment and take off or tone down the distortion on the lead.

good advice, thanks! i'll try

good advice, thanks! i'll try that
