My interpretation of lonlonjp's arrangement of Aerith's Theme, from Final Fantasy VII, composed by Nobuo Uematsu. Changed a few bits and borrowed a couple of ideas from the Piano Collections version of the piece.

The performance itself was really clean, nice job. Your fingerstyle technique is arguably in need of improving (you rely a lot on your index finger as opposed to the others, which means the playing takes more effort), as you might have difficulty with faster or more intricate pieces. My guess would be that you've been playing guitar a while, but are fairly new to fingerstyle?

Thanks guys, really appreciate it :)

And yeah, I am fairly new to fingerstyle, I'm an electric guitarist and bassist mainly, and do have a tendency to stick to the one or two fingers. Something I need to work on I guess, although I'm yet to come across a passage I've truly struggled with yet.

In the various Rodrigo y Gabriela and Andy McKee pieces I like playing there are a few faster complex bits, where I've noticed I do use the other fingers too :P I guess that for some reason I just sub-consciously opt for my most confident digit when playing slower parts...

Heh, I prefer the fingerstyle approach as covering melody and harmony simultaneously adds a different type of complexity to the piece, which I enjoy more than just layering seperate tracks.

However, I may get round to doing a few electric covers should I find any I think would work well :P
