Recording: Castlevania - Heart of Fire

Thanks, man. Like I said: it's been a while since I've put a song together by myself, and I wanted to see how well I could do it now. I still have a lot to work on as far as mixing/mastering, choosing the right tones for guitars, and sequencing damn drums, but I think I've at least improved from what I used to be able to do on my own.

For example, the fast part the first time around I did with a bunch of pull offs on the G string like this:

Well, I'm glad you think so; I think that you bumped my average back up to 5 stars. Though, I'm not super offended if everybody doesn't give me 5 stars, like a lot of people on this site. In fact, I rarely give out 5 star ratings. I gave Swicktape's Lufia II boss fight 5 stars, but it had been quite a while before I gave anything 5 stars.

I'm glad to hear it. I put this song together in one night (including drum sequencing and mixing), so I think it's been getting a pretty good response considering that.
