Submitted Sat, 09/30/2017 - 13:47 by hashel (1 vote) Hey guys, i finally took the time to make a video for our collab on Hyrule Castle with ReadBeardedViking and Agus Rios. This was made for the Pixel Mixers "Classic 2D" Zelda Games album "Hylian Downfall"! This arrangement was inspired by usual taste for 70's prog rock, snarky Puppy stuffs, "Hate Song" by Porcupine Tree and the arrangement of this song made by the OneUps (which is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G). I tried to bring modernity with the bass synth, i used the idea of the "big riff" from "Hate song" by PT but using the Hyrule Castle theme instead. And Agus provided some crazy, almost free jazz, sax solos and RBV made some nice drumming (much better than what i wrote for the demo arrangement!) and i think we kinda managed to reach the global feeling/mood i wanted :) Hope you guys will like it! |
