This rock version of Breezy from FFVIII is my participation to the "GAME-ON CHALLENGE 2018" organized by Ro Panuganti.

So the original version is just a solo acoustic guitar so i wanted to make a rock version of it.
The theme of the contest is "prog" so i had fun making the "chorus" in 5/4 and the bridge in 6/4. Ofc i added a bit of organs during the chorus to bring that old prog vibe, and some guitar solos.

Didn't had much time to work on it and had a bunch of technical issues with parasites noises that made me lose a lot of time so it's not that polished, but i still hope you'll find it interesting.

FFVIII is my 1st Final Fantasy game, and one of my very first console game ever so it has a special place in my heart and that music is something i wanted to cover for years.

So even if it's not exactly what i wanted to do with it, i'm still happy to finally make my own arrangement :)

Hmm I liked the gentle touch of water and Seagals in the background, probably should have panned them 50/50 an then had them bounce from side to side but that's me nit picking.

Your playing has really come a long way since your last video though sir, especially those fills are just tasty.
