I decided to re-cover this song as my original version really wasnt very good. I think it turned out ok but Im not too happy with the clean chords in the middle.

Enjoy

Never played any of these

Never played any of these games, but I dig this song.

DISCLAIMER: I DONT KNOW SHIT AND THE FOLLOWING IS MY UNEDUCATED OPINION.

For some reason the notes that are originally on the piano sound kind of grating to me in the recording. The piano feels kind of subdued and the notes don't have super sustain but they sound really in your face and drawn out when played in your recording. Maybe it's just the volume. EDIT: To be more clear I mean specifically the part at 1:19 ish. In the original the percussion and backing stuffs are much more pronounced while the piano is very soft and the notes seem to dissipate quickly.

It feels like a large strength of the song is the sort of back and forth between the calmer parts and the more intense parts. If the reprieve from intensity is lost then it makes the impact kind of lessened when you jump back into the more aggressive sounding sections.

Sorry that I don't have the knowledge to provide technical information. I'm sure others will do so. I only know what sounds good or not good to me. Overall I thought this sounded really good.

Yeah I agree that's something

Yeah I agree that's something I probably should have done, since the lead does sound too loud at that part. But I'm glad you liked it :)

A good mixing would really

A good mixing would really make this cover shine, still a pretty good job all in all.
