It might just be the angle of the video but at :05 it looks like the topmost joint of the pinky of your fretting handing can curve outward to the right. If you could actually do that, that's wild to me at least. lol nice playing

I think it's just the rotation of all the knuckles on that finger. Though when downward pressure's exerted the third joint does seem to move a little to the side :).
