You know, sometimes it horrifies me how easily the majority of this community can be satisfied. Technically, tabs like this one (no offense, archard) are just the first step to an arrangement: An accurately transcribed melody. But well, one recognizes the song and one can easily play it. Awesome, but is it actually awesome on a scale of 5 stars? I doubt.
Don't get me wrong: Rating all current 'transcriptions' down to 2 stars would be just as pointless. Yet I don't think it's fair to have archard's Song of Healing right after Kabukibear's 1000 Words and takaf221's Far Off Promise at the Top Rated Tabs. All of them with a 100% 5-star-rating...

Your problem is that we've only got a five-star system instead of a ten-star one. Than and you seem to be some sort of crazy perfectionist that has to have everything completely done. This is a guitar tab, not a full-band tab. It says so on the game's tab list.

It's clearly a 5/5 Guitar tab.

No. It's just that there's a completely different skillset involved in fingerpicked guitar and single-pick guitar. One can be considered an 'advanced' guitarist without being able to fingerpick.

My argument is fingerpicking is not nessecarily equal to advanced skill.

EDIT: Wait, what? What does my argument here have to do with fingerpicking vs. non? The argument I'm making here is that it's solely a guitar tab. The original complaint was that it didn't have bass, rhythm, and drums as well. Jesus, I thought you were responding to a completely different comment of mine.

I really want to learn this song (My little lady loves FF9), but I feel bad learning this version without the base notes, since it feels like I'm cheating myself into learning something easier. T_T But I'm still new at guitar, so for the life of me I can't seem to iron out TheDoomOfAllFires's version.. (I've been stuck at the very first 2-3 measures for hours trying to get it to sound natural.)
