By far? Not that I dislike
By far? Not that I dislike Stamen's arrangement, but how is this BY FAR a better arrangement? The two are extremely similar, I just have mine in an easier key. By far implies that mine is crap. If you do feel that way, however, please tell me why, so I might not make the same mistake in the future.
wtf I didn't even remember
wtf I didn't even remember ever signing up here before, and I never put my name half capitalized like that for a login name(google delgelato if you don't believe me)...wtf ?!?!?
Sorry either way @_@
Anyways, I saw your tab, your version's definitely easier to play. Putting a capo on 4th fret already makes it sound the same as original =)
You and stamen(and that sungha jwcfree too good to be true-kid that I sometimes hate) are really awesome
your wrong
u need a capo on the 5th fret
idk
idk.. maybe ppl are lazy to tune their guitar into the position to the place u say its easier at, i agree ur place is easier..
but im jus playing this 1 cuz i wanna c how many months my guitar can go without tuning it (tune it once so far since i got it in feb)

Guitar Welfare
Your guitar needs to be put in foster care.
I think what he means is
I think what he means is that it sounds more "accurate". Some newbs get confused when a song changes key, and in this case I think he thought your tab was "wrong". I admit I like this tab better than yours, but that's not to take anything away from yours as it's still a quality arrangement. I just prefer the natural key for this song.
Someone, Help!! i dont know
Someone, Help!!
i dont know what that "L" means in the middle of the tab!!!
what it signifies????
For some of those letters i
For some of those letters i was confused too, you have tab legends of duration, and sound. This one is duration, it means you keep the same sound as the last one played on that particular string, until that period. So if i can say it more clearly, keep the intonation up until next note, but its really not a big difference as to the sound, you can just do a light stroke two and it sound same. And for the version thing i cant really tell which one is beter they both sound good.
This is the hard version!
This is the hard version!
i really like this piece,
i really like this piece, anyone know where i can get sheet music for it? Im trying to play this at my next guitar concert.
Re: The Sight of Spira
Im on kabuki's side for this one, some people think this is harder and I dont know if they've cracked either arrangement, or theyve ever reached the bottom of the fretboard because its irrelevant in my opinion Kabuki's has harder note changes just about (stamens appears to have slightly easier barres) but there is hardly a difference in sound to be honest. This is a very difficult song to learn, but still my next target, i gave up on my first attempt.
Any tip ? my finger are too
Any tip ?
my finger are too short...
i have to move they faaaaast.....
so good.. but so hard
so amazing.. but soo hard to play
You sir, make me squeal with joy.
I have always loved your arrangements. They are always a little bit on the hard side, and they certainly could be cleaned up a bit at points, however they are always unique. For some reason, your arrangements feel very jazzy, and very full. It is a shame that the popularity of an arrangement tends to dwindle as does the popularity of the game, because I would really enjoy more arrangements of music from the games that I always enjoyed. On a side note: can games be art? I say no, because the production of a game is the production of a commodity, and commodities have longevity. Art, on the other hand has no longevity; it exists timelessly and is always relevant. I feel though, that art can be produced from video games, but that it lies outside of the initial production. I feel like the art here lies in the creativity and desire of people like yourself to remove the music from the game, and make it into a piece which speaks for itself; a piece has the potential to exist individually from the plot of the particular game. I don't think that this piece actually does that, but I do feel that "To The End of The Abyss," has that potential.
Anyway, thanks for tabbing this and whatnot.
Awesome
I put Stamen47 as the best tabber on the site. I love your arrangement of Blue Fields from FFVIII and I'm still trying to play it properly.
Kabukibear's arrangement is awesome too, and by far easier to play (which in some sense makes it better) but I love this arrangement in the natural key, its awesome (although reeeally hard), and I think it has the edge.
Thanks to Kabukibear for his many FF arrangements which I really enjoy playing. You're one of the best contributors on the site.
'L'
WHAT the HELL does 'L' mean ?
It means "tied note".
It means "tied note".
so what fret is the first 1 ?
so what fret is the first 1 ?
Take a look at this example:
Take a look at this example:
When you get to the L's, it means "keep holding the notes on those strings". So you're playing -0-03-, and those 3 notes keep ringing out for an extra whole note.
thanks
thanks
