If someone rates 1 Star
If someone rates 1 Star (Poor) I'd actually like to hear a reason.
I can't improve it without constructive criticism.
That's why I suggested
That's why I suggested recently that ratings should only be allowed with a comment attached to them for that very reason. It's pretty certain that some jackass gave it 1 star cause he couldn't play it. I think some people objected to the idea though. I might implement it, what do you think?
I know I'd like to see
I know I'd like to see that...
I'd actually like
I'd actually like that.
Firstly, It's more helpful for the tabber to have a comment along with the rating. So one knows what to improve. And secondly it forces the reviewer to think about the rating s(he) gives.
I don't understand the
I don't understand the dissent with requiring a comment along with a rating. If you don't care enough to leave criticism, or add anything at all, you shouldn't bother to rate it in the first place. I believe this is one of those executive decisions you just have to put into action.
In regard to the tab: great interpretation... it's good to give people different ways to play things so they can choose which style works best for them. 5 stars.
But sometimes people base
But sometimes people base their ratings on different things. And sometimes they just rate it on how much they love the song and not the tab itself. The tabs I'm arranging myself are going to be classical and aimed at preserving as much musical detail as possible. And after uploading something that I had spent an hour or two arranging, I would like to know if i am getting a single star based on the song or the tab. I think criticism is also important as it will help me create better tabs in the future, so I'm all up for that.
Ok, I've disabled ratings
Ok, I've disabled ratings for anonymous users only. This should stop 12 year olds from giving random tabs 1 star for no reason. It will also allow members who want to give ratings but don't necessarily have anything constructive to say to just make the rating. I think if someone has some advice to go along with the rating they will do it any way.
not sure why anyone would
not sure why anyone would rate 1... this is a *very* good tab. thanks a lot for it! it was my favorite song off of mario 64
maybe I'm not reading it
maybe I'm not reading it right. it sounds way off to me.

Did you pay attention to the dropped D tuning?

aha! another droped d! I new I was missing something. This is awesome.
Very Good
Even though I can't play it I love this song so I rate it 5. I'm only 13 and I started at 11 (the skill level at my time is debatable but I'll ignore it).
This tab is absolutely
This tab is absolutely excellent. A bit difficult to play yet once you get it its very fun to play.
Great Job
Very good tab! And based on your username you must play diablo eh?

Measure four, and all the
Measure four, and all the ones like it, where it jumps from fret 3 or 1 to fret 15 or 12 in the span of one eighth note (no rest between), mean this is lost to me as I understand it. And I was looking forward to playing this one. :( I guess I'll still try the rest of it!

yeah....in one of the recordings I saw someone just play the notes an octave lower but I know that bugged trang XD.
Idunno do what works for you ¯\_(°_o)/¯. There was a time when I was going to record this but I could never make those jumps smoothly or accurately.
I like to play these high
I like to play these high notes as artificial harmonics, sounds similiar and makes the playing more comfortable. You can also combine it with a little upstroke on the 2 harmonics if one isnt enuff for you.
The E 10 can be played with the right hand etc. To me it's always a good idea to fiddle around with different methods of playing until something feels like the "right way" to play. No need to understand a tab as "set in stone", there is always room for change that everyone benefits from individually if that makes sense lol.
awesome, except the fact that
awesome, except the fact that you could easily play the super high nites one octave lower and it would sound just as good.
Well, it's still a pretty
Well, it's still a pretty excellent tab, despite the comment that I left a couple years back.
I agree with the implementation of artificial harmonics for the 15's.
As to the other crazy jump, there's another way to do it.
