Right, I've just completed my first real transcription, not counting all the small 5 seconds of a song ones. And I'd just like to get your thoughts about it :).
Did it based on the guitar + piano version of the song... kinda.

Mostly I just notice rhythmic

Mostly I just notice rhythmic problems. There shouldn't be a measure of 9/8 time at the beginning. You're throwing off the rhythm for the whole next section.

Make it like:

You'll have to move the last quarter of measures 4, 5, 6, and 7 each to the start of the next measure. That'll fix measure 8, which is too short, and you can change those tied quarters to a half note.

For measures 10, 12, 26 and 28, I am not sure I personally like the two dotted quarters. I expected a quarter and half note instead, but that's just me.

In measures 14 and 30, the last dotted quarter should be a quarter.

Starting in 17, you're counting in 9/16 time, but it's marked as 4/4. That's confusing. It's clearly counting 3 groups of 3 beats, so 9/16 time would work well, but then you break that rhythm twice (at the start of measure 22, and toward the end of measure 23). BTW, when the beat is a dotted half, you shouldn't write a quarter note like in measure 23--you should write a sixteenth tied to a dotted eighth there.

Anyway, here is a GP5 with the revisions I mention above. The only thing I mentioned that I didn't change was the pairs of dotted quarter notes, 'cause I figure that's a "taste" thing, and it's up to you, while all the rest are mistakes.

Don't ignore Guitar Pro's measure boundaries, and don't ignore the bar incomplete / bar exceeded warnings :-)

Thank you for the reply, well like I said, I'm a beginner so i was expecting to do alot of stuff wrong :p. I've looked at your changed version and I gotta say it sounds better. I probably wouldn't have been able to fix it as I have no idea how to use guitarpro pretty much :p so is it okay if I just take the one you changed it to?

Oh, sure, go ahead. All I

Oh, sure, go ahead. All I did was change the rhythm, they're all your notes still :-)
