Here's your tab http://www.gametabs.net/animal-crossing/kk-cruisin-0 That rhythm is tricky, I was working on measure 4 with triplets (and put the midi on a 8th note swing) to try and get closer to the original. Came up with this: 3 3 3 3 3 3 Q Q Q. Q H. Q. Q Q |--------------------2----------------------------------| |---2----2----4-----------3------------L-----------6----| |*--3----3----------------1------------L------3----6----| |*--2----2----------------1------------L-----------5----| |---2----2----------------1------------L-----------6----| |--------------------------------------------------0----| H. E E Q Q. S E. E ------------------------------------------| --L---------------6-------6------L-4---2--| --L---------------5-------5------L--------| --L---------------5-------5------L--------| --L---------------------------------------| --L---------------5-------5------L--------| Might sound a little better, but the way you wrote it sounds fine. Also changed the composer to Toru Minegishi. That album you linked is for City Folk. The songs new to that game were by Manaka Tominaga and Shiho Fujii, but most of the K.K. Slider songs are just reused from the original Animal Crossing game. I think Toru wrote every K.K. song for the first game. "During the development of Animal Crossing, I was in charge of composing K.K. Slider’s “present music.” I needed to create more than 50 different musical tracks!" http://www.zelda.com/universe/game/twilightprincess/inside13.jsp Great arrangement though, and good idea using that tuning for bar chords. Cruisin' is one of the best Slider songs, especially love this remix

Timings are a doozy

Good job on the timings there, i spent who knows how many times trying to write something that even closely resembles the actual before coming up with what i did - transcription is not my strong suit so i though i bit off more than i could chew here! Thanks for your work on it HSL

Well I didn't actually put my change into the final tab posted on the site, just showing you what might have been a slightly more accurate version on that one measure. I didn't take the time to change any other parts, your version is close enough and not quite worth the hassle to make exactly like the original.

Even still knowing what note timings to look for in swing style pieces helped me out a bit :P

Fingerstyle arrangement, D#AC#GBE Tuning (tune low E and D strings down half a step). The tuning is necessary so as to form bar chords for the main progression (or close enough to it) which in turn lets you play the melody over the top much easier.
Had loads of trouble trying to put this one together - i'm not 100% happy with the midi but i don't think i'll ever get it to be a faithful recreation of the song. The original is therefore the best reference point to capture the 'feel' of how it should be played - i like it best keeping true to the original myself.
Composer unknown but most likely tominaga/fujii http://vgmdb.net/album/17749 however it isn't listed on the OST for some reason
