I started work on this quite some time ago and it has just been left to sit for too long. I started by transcribing the lead and harmony lines from the MP3 and finished that quickly, but the fingerings are awkward and difficult and I've tried moving things around a bit with minimal success.
I wanted to do this sooner but I'm not sure what took me so long. I know we have a fully capable support/help community here, so here goes. :)
The song is the theme of the town of Shyron from the NES version of Crystalis. In keeping with the theme of the song I wanted it to be thoughtful and melancholy. I was shooting for a fingerstyle/classical song.
Attached are the exported ASCII, MIDI, and an MP3 of the original song.
If you have any input please feel free to comment and let me know what you think. For the most part I think I just dislike the fingerings, so information that focuses on that aspect will be greatly appreciated.
