Diablo - Tristram

Hey guys i've been a long time watcher and listener in these forums and i thought i'd have my go of tabbing. I've made a tab of the Tristram theme from diablo 1/2 (not half).. It's not as perfect as i'd like it to be, but as I've only been playing for about 8 months now, i think it's as perfect as i can make it for now (it's not meant to be absolutely true to the theme, but close to).

Thanks
Tristram

Ah awesome, why are you not looking forward to D3? it will be a good game regardless if it doesn't stick witht he gothic vibe of Diablo 1 and 2. Blizzard hire very talented people.

If they remove the 'diablo'

If they remove the 'diablo' from the title then sure ;) I loved diablo (especially 1) for the dark atmosphere, ambience and unforgiving yet realistic difficulty. Watching some gameplay vids diablo 3 reminds me of Champions of Norrath and Sacred, both good games but without the immersion of Diablo. The 'main theme' gives the impresssion of a hot blooded apocolyptic action game, whilst the rest of the music is really toned down, probably to make way for repetitive, over-the-top sound effects consisting mainly of 'whoosh, splat and arrgghhh'. I'd prefer it if they went back to the roots of diablo 1, but focus more upon careful, almost stealthy gameplay, with the need to carefully assess each situation. The multiplayer could also do with more teamplay elements (setting traps, scouting, ambushes etc), rather than mindless hack and slash with the occassional heal and knockback. However, I'll probably enjoy the game. It just hasn't gone in the direction I would have liked ;D
