i'll be picking up a ps4 on the 9th when the uncharted collection bundle drops. first on the list to play is bloodborne. after that it's just a mess of games that i need to get to over time. mad max, AC4, alien isolation, evil within, shadow of mordor, DA inquisition, arkham knight, MGS5, and of course the yet to be released battlefront and fallout 4. the witcher 3 is on that list, as well. i'm really just waiting for next spring with uncharted 4, dark souls 3 and horizon.

The only recent game I've been playing was Life is Strange but I'm still no further than Episode 1. Usually I tend to wait at least a year for new releases until all the game breakings bugs and performance issues have been patched out, even when I buy them close to release date. Next new-ish game will probably Divinity OS 2 or Torment: Tides of Numeneria since I've become a sucker for cRPG's over the last couple years, Witcher 3 is on my list as well. |

Ennea, You should keep up with Life is Strange it's such a good game! As for the other games, I've never played uncharted before and I'm not into dark souls, too scary for me, black flag is an awesome and bloodborne is another game I can't get into |

I've mostly been playing Rising Thunder, a fighting game made by Seth Killian that's currently in early alpha. It's really good but it's got a lot of flaws to work out and the game itself is still very bare bones (6 characters, only 1 stage, training mode and lobbies not entirely working right). It's got a good start and in a year from now I feel like we might start seeing it pick up momentum. It's kinda neat running into people like Alex Valle, Filipino Champ or Ultradavid who I never expected I'd be fighting. I also played through Life is Strange and enjoyed it immensely, game is hella good. Dungeon of the Endless is pretty awesome if you haven't tried it, and one my new friends has gotten me into Red Alert 2 which has been pretty fun/nostalgic. |

I've been playing a lot of Super Smash for Wii U and Mario Kart since they came out last year. The other games I've been playing recently aren't new at all. Rotating through a lot of Genesis and Super Nintendo games. Looking forward to a few other titles coming somewhere down the line... Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Mighty No. 9, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zero Escape 3, new Zelda game that needs to stop getting pushed back, Pokken, Monster Hunter X, etc. Star Fox Zero may be promising too, but I'm on the fence about it. That's it off the top of my head. Oh there's also some pc series a buddy of mine mentioned called Distoted Travesty. Looks like a pretty cool platformer and I may check it out. There's also the list of PS4 games on my watchlist, but since I don't plan on getting one anytime soon, if at all, I'll keep it to systems I own lol.

Ah I forgot I have a Wii U... well I don't count any of the games it has as new really. Mario Kart 8 didn't really add much from when I played it on the N64, and Smash bros has been the same for last 2 iterations and that's all I really play on it. lol |

I can't say Mario Kart 8 stands out particularly, but I do find it entertaining. I like the whole customize your vehicle thing though. I don't know how new that feature is lol. As for Smash, that's a different story, coming from someone who admittedly takes the series a bit too seriously as a fairly casual player. My friends and I rotate between playing all of them, save for the DS version. As with just about all fighting game series the general gameplay is essentially the same, but they've all got their up and downsides... Even Brawl, my least favorite of all lol.

So I just wanted to see what games everyone has been playing lately. I got a ps4 last year and I've found some awesome games (Life is Strange, The Withcer 3, my list goes on). I just want to know what other games are out there for ps4 or xbox1 or whatever. I'm always looking for new games to try!
