Yeah I was happy with how it came together in the DADGAD tuning. It's incomplete but still fun to play at this point. That's why I decided to post it as a work in progress. I'll update the tab when I've made significant progress towards the full version.

Well I finally got around to working on this and now it's almost done. Figuring out that guitar solo was a pain lol, but I think I've adapted it pretty well. The tab is complete, start to finish, but I plan on playing it for a few more days to see if I can make any improvements.

Tab flows real well for the most part, damned if i can get the solo correct though lol. Yeah I just spiced up that section to make it more fun to play (tee-hee) It builds anticipation to the approaching chorus ^^ I had considered playing it like you posted above, but it didn't really work for me. The semi-trill from 2 to 5 with my middle and pinky while having my pointer ring out the bass 2 is a bit straining. It's easier for me to just bar the 2 and do the trill with my pinky ;) But of course that's completely optional. Before I decided to fancy it up, the tab looked like this:

I'd been working with this tab in standard tuning at different capo positions and was never satisfied with it. But the other day I realized it fits very nicely in DADGAD tuning (which I never really use). I've tuned one of my guitars to DADGAD and have been working on this for the past few days and it's starting to finally come together.
The tab goes from the intro up till the beginning of the second verse. I'll work out the rest eventually. It also has a guitar solo towards the end so I've got to figure out something appropriate for that part, so it may be a while before I can call this tab 'finished'.
