i write stories, and compose music and do art. i'm working on a comic book now. all these things also mean i'm currently poor. i love basketball.

Wow, I've apparently been part of this community for nearly 7 years, yet all I really do is lurk the forums, with a few posts here and there.

Well anyway I'm just outside of Queens, NY. The past year I've been enjoying more travelling than I'm just to and plan on doing much more. Aside from music, I snowboard when the season is right and I'm real big on cinema/film :). I took a break from school, currently working in a medical facility and taking on whatever odd jobs fit into my schedule.

I may not have been here as long as others, and haven't been quite as active as of late, but I like to think I'm a regular!
I will have been here for two years in two weeks from now, which oddly enough is also my birthday, so I'll be turning 18.
I live in Brisbane, Australia, and I'm in my first year of University with a Game Design major and Sound Design minor, which would be the main reason my my recent lack of activity. Again. XD
Two years isn't that long, but I feel right at home here, and you guys are all awesome!

I'm 25 now. I still practice almost daily, finally seeing the bigger holes in my technique fill up. I've been working over a lot of Ewan Dobson songs, good stuff, wonderfully illuminating to just practice over. It did wonders for my reach and positioning.

I bike around a lot other than that, generally make money where I can. Two year college degree since five years back, I'll consider school again when there's something I actually want to learn rather than simply be certified to do.

I'm still lurking, but I can't log in cause that's not true lurking.

I'm from Atlanta and I compose music. I don't think the latter is much of a surprise, though xD I guess it is if you don't follow the Tune Contest (which you totally should do if that's your cup of tea). Hmm... I'm a little bit into tech, but not that much. I'm more interested in music than anything else. I like to read, though I haven't been doing much of that. These days it's sort of an on-and-off thing.

I have been lurking here for about as long as i have played guitar, i'm from Finland as well.
When i first started playing this site was my savior, i never felt like i was stuck or hit a plateau since there was always something new and interesting to play.

Also, people seem to be telling what they do for a living so i might as well, i'm a photo editor in a dead end firm, spent most of my time training for that job playing guitar or wishing to play it.

I've been a long time lurker on this site as well (since I first seriously picked up guitar, in fact) and I think finding Gametabs might be the reason I'm still playing the guitar today. I'm 27 and I'm from rural Illinois, but I'm currently living in Ohio. I'm a second year graduate student studying medical physics, which keeps me busy most of the time. Other than the guitar/videogame/animation interests that you'd expect based on my tabs, I also like reading and writing stories. I'm a huge fan of verbal adventures and I love to riff on bad movies and terrible anime with friends.

I've been out of the loop for a while because of my studies, so maybe I'm not a true 'regular,' but hopefully I'll be able to contribute more soon.

I don't make tabs as much as I used to (I JUST recently broke a 2 year dry spell!), but I lurk sometimes, like Chelsea. I'm 30, live in NE Ohio. I've loved J-RPGs all of my life, since Final Fantasy IV came out, mostly SNES titles, though. When I'm not playing guitar or working, I work out a lot, watch classic film, read Stephen King books...I still play games too, which is what I do while I work out. I have a lot of love for this site and the community!

If anyone's around Boston, MA there's a good chance I'll be taking a drive/long weekend late October. I'll be seeing a band I've been fan girling over for years on a Friday near me, then the next day the plan is to head to Boston to catch them there as well. It's not set in stone just yet, but I'm trying to make arrangements.

I'm down for a meet up for food, drinks, adventures, and all the like in the interim if all goes accordingly. :)

I guess I didn't tell you guys what I do for a living. Along side studying computer science at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah I also work for my department. I'm the web developer for the CS department. It's been pretty fun =)

Circa Survive is the headliner. They'll be doing a full playthrough of their first album, it's gonna be a huge throwback show for me. Rx Bandits are playing too, so that's a bonus!

i remember the rx bandits, or once the pharmaceutical bandits, back in the late-ish 90's when they were more or less a 3rd wave ska band. opening for reel big fish, or festivals with a new found glory type lot of bands. the drive-thru records days.
