Same here, as soon as others start watching I play like a spazoid. But then again, thanks My advice is to get yourself a good teacher. Or if your low on cash, or dont like creepy strangers, collect some guitar exercises online and practice them a little each day. Pay close attention to your techniques and go slow but try and make as few mistakes as possible, have fun. Cheerio |

As strangejam said, drop by the IRC channel (just click on "IRC!" on the forum page). We're certainly used to helping teach some techniques, I've personally gone and streamed live on occasion. This site has lots of classical style players including myself and also some great electric oriented players. So there's something for anybody. |

jajaja. I never thought there would be other "Bedroom Guitarists"and it makes me feel a bit better. ^^ Question to Speedstar. Why would you think i'm a classical player? I have an acoustic and electric guitar, and i enjoy playing hardcore!(Well, made up music actually. lol) I appreciate the advices given, and i'll try my best. Thank you surreal for telling me what IRC was. I was like, what the heck is that? =] Rexlerouge, i'll take that in mind. Many tell me i could skip over music theory, and me being lazy i listened to them! I have a question though. Obviously i'm a beginner, and i want to play like the pros, but my strumming sucks. However, i can use all my fingers to strum to melodies,so that means i can kinda play, just not the rock i want to play. What should i do? Oh. Sorry for writing so much! |
