very doutful, I know a few of my paint an body buddys who could put that on a guitar for about 100-150$ maybe less. Now as far as the guitar value thats a whole different story. If that's a real telecaster maybe a few thousands I could see but 10,000+ I'd bet my life that it wouldn't come no where near that cost. **UPDATE** Wow looks like I was wrong and lost my life. http://storeuser5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/user/evastore_auc 100,000+ for the one in that pic at the top. If you convert it from YEN to USD the other one not shown on thread goes for a little less. Those guitar are handmade 100% they are very nice. From what I read on that site those guitars were made for the new anime movie thats coming out. Only 2 were made which kinda sucks with all the anime fans I would have thought they would mass produce these guitars for the fans.

yeah limited edition custom shop fender guitars demand big money even the mass produced custom shop guitar will set you back about 3500 dollars to start. the evh tribute by fender costs a good 25,000 dollars. |

Fanned frets are for keeping intonation and voicing clear if you're going to be dropping your tuning significantly from standard like DADGAD or tuning the bass down to C. The longer scale on the bass string(s) is what requires the fan frets, and what keeps the voice clear despite being tuned so low, which would be varying degrees of sloppy/loose on most normal guitars. |
Fanned frets are great. My

Fanned frets are great. My dream custom guitar would definitely have fanned frets, stereo out, probably 29" scale eight strings, maybe 30-40% wider string spacing at the bridge (but not too much wider than normal at the nut), built-in damper/movable capo/nut (rotate to switch), shallow semi-hollow body. And it'd be blue. Bluuuuuuuuuuue. Plugs on front, not out the bottom. Active pickups and EQ. And the headstock would be in the shape of a snail.

Snail shaped headstock... http://www.guitarsite.com/news/images/guitar/espsword1.jpg this one is supposed to have a katana inside of it. Angel guitars Shinigam Flying V and the Armor Guitar with a ruby etched on it As for me my dream guitar would be something more along the lines of a guitar with an ultra thin neck, 24 jumbo frets, super Strat shape, with a single coil active pickup on the top position and a humbucker on the bridge, along with a Floyd bridge. |
ESP custom shops are too
