Clannad - Dango Daikazoku

This will be my first tab as I am new to the site, as a member. However, I have been looking up tabs on this site for a long time and am thankful for the many submissions by numerous individuals (that's you Archard). One day I decided to look for one of my favourite EDs on the site and I found Mokbie's work in progress of Clannad's ending song, Dango Daikazoku. I looked at the work in progress of Mokbie's which is right here:

http://www.gametabs.net/forum/topic/3021

However, I was not satisfied with just playing the intro, and I thought that Mokbie's tab sounded a little off, so I tried finding the right notes and finally tabbed it. My version compared to Mokbie's is a little lower on the scale, but I believe it sounds right. I also have the verses and the chorus tabbed as well, not just the intro to the song. The tab is for the Anime version of the song, not the original which (has an amazing Piano solo and) is the file I uploaded. Instructions have been added to help out with playing.

The tab can be either played with finger picking or with a pick, it's personal preference; I prefer to play the Intro and the two Verses with finger picking to make it sound nicer, then play the Chorus with a pick to make it louder and emphasize certain notes. I've also added a Harmonic version of the Intro, which I feel sounds alot nicer, but the normal version is still included.

If anyone believes there are any mistakes or suggestions, please notify me!

Without further Adieu here's the Tab file:

Here's the Anime version of the song (which is the version I tabbed):

Here's the MP3 (full version of the song):

Thanks for your time and patience,
Lee

*Edit* I added the Harmonic intro to the txt on October 6, sorry for the edit.

All the notes sound correct, but your guitar might be tuned a half-step up. In standard tuning the intro should look like this:

e|-----4--4--6--6--8--4---------4--4--6--6--4----|
B|-6-4-------------------4--6-4------------------|
G|-----------------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------|

Can you just revise the tab and move all the notes up one measure like I did here. Unless you meant for it to be tuned up, otherwise there is no need for it.

Sure thing. The tab should now be tuned properly now, thanks for catching my mistake (obviously I'm not gonna change the Harmonic Intro though).

Thanks for the help Hslesperance.

Do you want the harmonic intro included? The harmonics are off a half-step if it is in standard tuning. Should I just keep the original version and put a note at the top that says tuned a half-step up.

Sorry about the confusion, I decided to keep the original tab and put a notation at the top stating the tab is tuned a half-step up.
