Final Fantasy - Matoya's Cave

Here's an arragement I just finished of Matoya's Cave from the first Final Fantasy for the NES. The emphasis here is on playabiliy, but it's pretty accurate. I am the same Orusaka that uploaded the Ship arrangement quite some time ago, but I've been inactive for a year and a half, and I came back yesterday to find my account deleted. Thus, I started a new one in the same name, in case it struck the mods odd that my account was created yesterday. Anywho, I hope someone will like it.

edit: can't seem to get the links to work, but this is what is should say "/files/user/Orusaka/Matoya%27s%20Cave.zip">"

Haven't tried playing this yet, but it sounds great from the GP5.

I got excited when I saw a tab for this song go up last month, but this is closer to what I was hoping for. Thank you!

Dude, I just got iniated to lonlonjp on youtube, and watched his version of this one. By God, that guy stole my arrangement before I made it. Well, actually I started this one like two years ago, and brought it out and finished it today, but that's almost scary how similarly we've arranged it. They're not identical, but all the main ideas of how to express things are the same. I almost feel a bit good about being somewhat of the same mind as such a genious. Too bad people are now doomed to think I based my version on his, but I can live with that, I guess.

hey the guy doesnt even write tabs or show his sheet music. If you arranged this and it sounds like his you should be damn proud of yourself who cares what anyone thinks.

Well, it doesn't neccessarily sound too much like his version; we have very different arrangement theories and aims. He makes arrangements for classical guitar they way people tend to, ie, emphasis on melody and building some bass notes around it, while I aim to replicate pace and rhytm of the original song more, and try to make it as if the melody just magically appears in the rhytm, if that makes sense. The striking thing is just that it's about 40% identical in terms of solutions to specific sections. I'm not too bothered either way, I'm on to my next project, or next few, rather. I have always have too many things going at once.
