I've played FF7CC,8,9,10,10-2 and 12 so far, I've enjoyed every single one of them. FF2 I played as well, on PSP, but I just couldn't get into it >.< Maybe it's because I'm not used to the 2d graphics heh.

I couldn't stand FFX-2, I wanted to play it to finish the story, but thought the game-play was so awful I couldn't continue... Why do people hate on 7? It's a great game, and plus, Vincent is bad ass and Tifa is my wife, in my dreams, but regardless my wife ;) She can beat me any day

Oh tactics owned me. Or let's say, the first fight with mages in them owned me, couldn't get past it :( which was like, way at the beginning too :/ I do kinda like 2D though, when I played Secret of Mana I realised the 2D wasn't too bad, then I sorta started liking it ^^ but I'm lazy so I haven't played it much >.<

I thought the battle system in FFX-2 was only second to the battle system of FFX. The worst game in the series by far is FFXII. Characters were bland, world was bland, battle system was okay and I didn't particularly like the story. Here's hoping that FFXIII will be as good as it looks. |

How about you guys just rate all of the games from 1 to whatever? If a game sucks it's not necessarily an opinion, but sometimes a fact. To me FFX-2 sucks because of the fact that it's too girly with the "pixie dust" menu's and that most of the places you go to have already been done in FFX. With a lackluster plot and character development, "Oooo look at me, 2 years ago I was The Shy Super Strawberry Guardian Savior of Spira and now I'm a Beach Babe Fashionista running around in a bikini shooting monsters with guns". And did FFX truly need a sequel? I'd rather they did a sequel to FFIX or a remake of FFVII. In truth Final Fantasy went downhill after SquareSoft split and Square Enix came to town. Have you guys played FFXII? The Politics are the main characters in that game. What happened to character development? And who the hell is the Main protagonist? Ashelia or Vaan? Sure you play as Vaan, but it wasn't even as clear as it was in FFX (Yuna). I'd have to go with FFVIII as my favorite because the characters are the most realistic team I can think of from reality (Usually when I play a game I picture myself in that person's shoes". Also, since they are School Kids, that really relates to the modern person. Every game has it's flaws, though.

Oh yeah. The suckfest of Final Fantasy games has to be Mystic Quest I mean seriously now. FF Tactics for PSX was amazing IMHO. My favorite class was.....Squire, because of Accumulate which really packs a punch in boss battles. I once maxed it out and got 6 turns in a row for Ramza hitting 999 with each hit.

I know there has been alot of people who'd give up a body part for it, but I think it was good they didn't do a remake of FFVII. I mean, all they really could have done is improved the graphics.. most of what made that game as good as it was(imo) was the epic story, and that you cannot remake. Best left as a classic.

I think the only reason FFX-2 was made is because the fans were pissed about how how things ended with Tidus and Yuna. I'll admit I enjoyed playing it for the time being, but once I finished it and got the "perfect ending" I realized it was completely unnecessary. I think FFVIII was the best.

I'd have to admit that I enjoyed playing FFX-2 even though I was told by a ton of people it was beyond pathetic. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the ridiculously easy boss fights and weird plot. But besides that the battle system was fun and the soundtrack decent. Though by far I'd say the FF I liked least was FFII since the ability leveling system ticked me off so much. But imo some of the best dialogue/plot is in FFV even though they had a pussy antagonist. Plus thats when they really started using a Job System. And Gilgamesh has an awesome boss theme. |

FFX-2 was ok it had some good music and a fairly good story to it but the battle system made me wanna punch a baby in the face. It was ok at the beginning i guess but still annoying non the less. And all FF games are great regardless of consol or graphics. For me its all about the story line the music and the overall epicness of em. I gotta tell ya tho FFX is the only one that made me tear up a bit at the end.

I'll Rate mine in order. Even though I played pretty much all of them, I didn't even beat 60% of them. So I'll rate only the ones I actually finished start to ending (or close to it). FFVII - 9/10 (So much like 6 and yet not) FF Crystal Chronicles - solo 6/10, with co-op 8/10 (It's a fun little game, but not much goes on except doing the same routine every year) EDIT: I love RPG's because of the leveling up and story. I used to only enjoy Turn-based RPG's but am now hooked on Open world combat.
