lol I stick with my Mac cuz I'm into Film making =P and i honestly can't stand finger picking... my fingers are not use to that... i use to be in a band a couple years ago, i was at my peak... but after 4 years of not playing... i friggin SUCK o.o lol... but im getting back into it... and i actually found one of the picks that came with the guitar... my grandfather had this guitar, its old o.o lol... never had a string break on me yet O_O

I doubt anyone is used to playing the guitar during the first times they noodle with it, I can't imagine learning different guitar techniques to be any different. Macs are basically super drivers and are super reliable, they don't have a silly registry and tend to be a lot easier to use in terms of intuitive interface. That's why I'd get one. Also, I'm pretty sure you should change those strings if they've been on that guitar as long as I'm inferring they have. They may not break, but chances are they're pretty dead sound wise. |

To be honest, they really aren't dead sounding :D They still sound as good as they did 5 years ago lol... And yes Macs are really reliable, until you play Runescape on HD with a macbook laptop >_> then it bugs out and goes pink squared screen on ya >_< which is still under warranty so im gunna take it to the nearest Mac store... After not touching the guitar in a while i suck badly lmao... need to get back into playing big time... I use to play it awkward as hell... but it sounded good... now im going with the "basic" technique on playing lmao...

5 years huh? Don't get tetanus. Macs don't have a dedicated backup program, so if they do actually fuck up you have a much higher chance of losing everything. |

Microsoft luckily acknowledged the high probability of their OS being compromised so vista is a backup whore. One of the few things I like about vista. Saved my lappy from a kernal error. |

Eh, I tried vista once, I didn't really like it... Then again I'm use to using macs since that's all we had in the TV Studio in my High School lol... I mean... after 3 years of use on THIS mac, it's still running fine, after 2 for my laptop (because of friggin Runescape -.- ) it kinda died... but ill fix it sooner or later lol
