Thanks for the advice. I went ahead and ordered a tool specifically for removing the screws in the SNES cartridge, but I think I'm going to stick with the scalpel/knife when removing the battery. Don't really trust myself with a soldering iron that close to something so ...prone to break when I accidentally solder the wrong spot :/ |

Hey guys,
My Secret of Mana cartridge's battery recently died on me. I've got the replacement battery and some basic tools to replace it, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any good tools (like other than a soldering iron) or had any tips on making this easier. I've replaced an old GameBoy cartridge battery before, but it was a rather brutal and lengthy process :(
