1. Their best track is 'Whiskey in the Jar', and that's a cover. I was a big fan of 'One' for a while as a kid, it's still pretty epic.
2. 'Number of the Beast' is great drunk listening, but I can't listen to them for any period of time.
3. I can not stand AC/DC. Firstly—Australian, then 'Big Balls' really sealed the deal.
4. Axl Rose is insane and retarded, but the 'Golden Age' GnR line-up can't be faulted for cock rock perfection.
5. Only know of 'Almost Easy' from RB2. If it's indicative of their style, their melodic sections are boring but catchy and their rock sections are too boilerplate to be either. Drums are good!
6. 'A Night at the Opera' was the first CD I had possession of, so obviously I think Queen is the greatest ever.
7. Might be the worst music I've ever been subjected to. Thanks, Amplitude!
8. I'm pretty sure I only know one track of theirs, and writing a song about Alcoholism is such a cliche
9. For a period of years, I listened almost exclusively to a massive collection of live Radiohead. One of the greatest bands ever, IMHO. I hardly listen to them recently, though I should.

1. Stereotypical metal band nowadays. Most of their stuff contains very predictable structure and doesn't impress me.
2. Good metal band from back in the day but nothing incredible. Iron Maiden aside from bass guitar work is very similar to Judas Priest.
3. They're an okay band in terms of putting on a show, but as far as musical ability and pretentiousness goes. No.
4. Hi I'm Guns N' Roses, listen our three most popular songs and Slash's pentatonic solos. No.
5. Vocals tend to be lax at times. Nice melodic interplay in their songs but far too many duplicated sweep guitar solos and shredding that is thrown in the melody for the sake of having a solo.
6. Freddy Mercury is god tier and while I do like Brian May, it's a little hit or miss with a lot of their songs. Most people who say Queen is one of their favorite bands only know of maybe five songs that they love by them.
7. Slipknot isn't a bad band at all. While I do hate their fanbase with a burning passion, they do have some nice songs. Nothing I would listen to often however, or worship for that matter; hate those fans.
8. Hello I'm Disturbed, please notice that most if not all of our songs are made exceptionally similar angry racy riffs with a predictable solo every time. dundundundun . . . dundundundun . . . dundundundun (and repeat).
9. Radiohead is a comical example of a band trying to focus on creating new stuff while their fans in the shallow category continue to yell at them to play Creep. Another case of daring the usual Radiohead fan to name 5 or more of their more recent songs.
10. I haven't listened to enough of Saliva to form a solid opinion of them, so I will respectfully not say anything here.

I'm a little surprised at how many of the users above me do not know of these bands. Get out there and listen to different bands, please.

Thanks, all of you! I won the bet, I am the proud owner of 30 bucks! Here's the opinions I have:

1. They are amazing. While a lot of their songs within an album are similar, the albums are very different. And the Unforgiven songs are unbelievably good.

2. I love Iron Maiden. Dream of Mirrors is such an amazing song, and the chorus is simply immaculate.

3. AC/DC is a classic rock band, and they are incredible. Old stuff IS better, though.

4. I like a select few GnR songs, but I still like Slash.

5. I absolutely abhor Avenged Sevenfold. It's so bland and it's all the same.

6. I love Queen, their vocals are uplifting and joyous. It's all I listen to when I'm depressed.

7. I don't like Slipknot. They have 1 or 2 songs I can tolerate, but the others are so lame.

8. No.

9. They're alright, "In_Rainbows" was pretty good. It's good to listen to while painting.

10. They existed for what, 20 minutes?

I'm shocked so many people are so "eh" on Radiohead. They're one of the single most creative and musical rock bands out there.They can take you from deep introspection to rocking out from one minute to the next. Ok Computer is a monument to great writing. These responses make me sad.

1. Amazing band. One of my favorites.
2. Another great band, love to listen to their stuff.
3. Once again, amazing band. They're style of music is great, though they do have some bad songs.
4. Not that great. Slash is a great guitarist, but I feel they only put out a few good songs as a group.
5. Of course, amazing IMO. Seeing a pattern?
6. Freddie Mercury is INSANE. Great singer and a great band.
7. I personally don't really like Slipknot that much, though I haven't heard much of their stuff.
8. I love these guys too. I can't think of a song I don't like by them. Though, a lot may not like their style. I love the fact that half they're songs have "ha ha ha" somewhere in them
9. Don't really know them that well. However the songs I have heard, although I did not think they were particularly bad, I did not like them.
10. Who are these people? No one seems to know. Lol.

1. Metallica - used to be awesome, died after Napster thing, now ruined by Rock Band
2. Iron Maiden - Was great, ruined by Rock Band
3. AC/DC - Aweseome, except ruined by Rock Band
4. Guns N' Roses - Never really liked their music, but they were okay.
5. Avenged Sevenfold - I like 2 songs, neither is on Rock Band.
6. Queen - Great when the mood strikes, annoying elsewhere.
7. Slipknot - Slightly better than Marlyn Manson
8. Disturbed - Still like them, getting ruined by Rock Band
9. Radiohead - Pop band...not a fan. Creep was ruined FOREVER by Rock Band.
10. Saliva - Hold on, let me youtube...oh yeah, I think I heard their songs on a Tony Hawk game or something. They're good. Not great, but good.

1. Metallica- Gods to most people who learn to play guitar here in NJ (most what I've noticed) I don't listen to their stuff much but they're pretty good
2. Iron Maiden- Love em, as much as Metallica...
3. AC/DC- Really love their music, never gets old to me
4. GnR- Old stuff was good... New shit is... well... shit
5. Avenged Sevenfold-.... who the hell is that o.o
6. Queen- Sauwesome! lol I like their stuff, but not a whole lot...
7. Slipknot- Fairly good... Works for me when I'm in my moods... but other than that, barely ever listen to em...
8. Disturbed- Mediocre... Don't like their stuff more, but love it when Twiztid's Jamie Madrox makes fun of em :D
9. Radiohead- Heard of them once, and it was that they were gunna put up their one CD online for free... back when i WAS going to college...
10. Saliva-... Heard of them once, through the Music Video on the game, The Thing... Wasn't THAT bad... but... ehhhh...

yeah, but before Rock Band, it actually was somewhat still enjoyable to hear on the radio. After being force to play it enough times to play it blindfolded, it's ruined for me forever. I still have nightmares.
