The original name was Opening Theme in FF1, and it was Opening in FF3 and FF4. But then it was renamed Final Fantasy in FF5. From FF6-FF9, it was part of the ending themes and didn't have a title, but then it appeared in FF12 as Final Fantasy again. So I guess we could say that since FF5 the song has been called Final Fantasy. Your tab is very accurate, but there's an additional note when you play the high 11 two measures from the end. Basically, you just need to split the 11 into H. and E, instead of the H it is now. You can hear that note in other versions more clearly, but if you listen to the FF1 version closely you can hear it there, too :-)

And then I realized that the chord progression from Chrono Cross's Another World is the same progression as the chorus from Peace of Mind by Boston, and life was never quite the same. |

I transcribed the Main Theme from Final Fantasy I on NES.
This song is also called "Opening Theme" (see the txt file for more details ^^).
I've been surprised to see that this beautiful little song hadn't been tabbed before !
(all the main themes for Final Fantasy I on GameTabs refer to the overworld theme ^^)
